OUR EUROPEAN UNION PROJECT "LET'S KEEP LIFE TOGETHER" IS APPROVED

The project titled "Let's Hold on to Life Together," which we prepared together with Eskişehir AFAD, Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Pompiers de l'Urgence Internationale (PUI), Asociacion de Investigacion de la Industria del Juguete (AIJU), and The Latvian Umbrella Body For Disability Organization (SUSTENTO) organizations as the SMA Disease Fight Association, was deemed worthy of support within the scope of the European Union Erasmus + Program Vocational Education Strategic Partnerships (KA202).

 
The project, prepared with the partnership of institutions-organizations in Turkey, Spain, France, and Latvia, was one of the 30 projects awarded a grant among 239 project proposals submitted this year.

In the project, it is aimed to make the living areas of all chronic dependent patients who are bedridden and continue their vital functions dependent on medical devices, mainly Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) patients, against disaster and emerging risks, and to set standards for post-evacuation shelter needs. Besides, teaching AFAD personnel who will perform first responders in disasters and emergencies (earthquakes, fire, and floods), the correct intervention and evacuation methods is one of the project's main objectives.

As a result of the project, it is planned to produce the "Distance Education Portal," which covers educational videos, animations, and digital books for individuals who live on medical devices, and educational materials such as animation and 3D disaster and emergency response personnel.
